IWC Schaffhausen Heats Up Miami with New Bal Harbour Boutique

Miami, August 28, 2012 – The Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen is pleased to announce the opening of its latest boutique in North America. It is located in Miami’s most luxurious shopping mall, Bal Harbour Shops. IWC’s other boutiques within the US can be found in the renowned international shopping destinations New York City and Beverly Hills.

Known worldwide for its ambience and luxury, the expansive Bal Harbour Shops offer discerning customers the ultimate tropical setting for luxury shopping abundant with lush vegetation and water features. “Bal Harbour Shops is a natural location for IWC, given its reputation as an iconic luxury destination. Precision in Paradise
Following the successful opening of the Flagship Boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City, IWC is continuing to expand its presence in North America. The brand was in fact founded by an American, Florentine Ariosto Jones, in 1868. The new Bal Harbour boutique is not only a high-profile retail location for the company’s much coveted timepieces, but also an expression of its core values of innovation and engineering excellence. The boutique, designed by IWC’s in-house team of architects and designers, reflects IWC’s spirit and philosophy. Each of the company’s six watch families is displayed within the unique architectural envelope.

The boutique features a mix of dark woods, set off against touches of white and chrome, reflecting the architectural style of its modern colonial surroundings. Every attention is given to fine detailing and craftsmanship, which further emphasizes the technical pioneering spirit for which IWC is globally renowned. A unique attraction for visitors is the range of special editions available exclusively in IWC boutiques. The experience of acquiring an IWC timepiece provides long-lasting excitement, but it becomes that much more extraordinary when customers are able to obtain an extremely rare model.
