The watchmaking manufacture presents the Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante “Rue de la Paix” Edition (ref. IW371216), a limited edition of 250 pieces that celebrates the city of Paris. To honour this occasion, four public figures have agreed to share their personal view of the city through four short films.
IWC Schaffhausen is continuing to write its success story, which started in 1995 with the first Portugieser Chronograph Rattrapante. The third button, which starts and the stops the split-seconds hand, is the main characteristic of this timepiece. In addition to the usual chronograph functions, it is also possible to measure two short periods of time simultaneously.
To celebrate the launch of this limited edition, which is dedicated to the City of Light, four public figures from different fields share their own view of Paris: Jalil Lespert, film director, Sonia Sieff, photographer, Guillaume Salmon, public relations at colette, and Léonore Baulac, Première Danseuse.
The four short films were shot by Axel Delwarte on his on-board camera in iconic locations throughout the capital. Each film captures the unique atmosphere of our protagonist’s Paris as well as their obvious affection for the city.
