I have recently got one of the Porsche Design IWC World Timers. It is a second hand piece without box and instructions. I wonder if anyone could explain me 1. how the alarm function works, 2. wether the only way to set the world time is to turn the outer ring (city names) to the proper position of the internal ring (24 hour display), 3. how to change time zones while travelling. Thank you.

The specific member who posted this comment can not be uniquely identified by username.
Ref. 3821 or 3822
...Are the two model numbers of the world timer Porsche Design IWCs. The Ref. 3822 with a gold bezel --which is the one I almost always find-- is shown here in a small photo. It uses a JLC-base quartz movement.

You probably know more about my watch than I. I received it naked, without bax, papers etc. I have no photo, but enclose a scan. The case is titanium, the strap is rubber. Regards Lazlo
