In September we gave away several IWC Pilot's Watches books. The first group went to our regular contributors -- anyone who entered the drawing who had more than 100 posts during the first half of the year. The second group was awarded to Newbies –-new members who have contributed over the past few months. The good news is that there’s still more books to give away.
This time, I'm suggesting a new prize drawing based upon your photographs of flight watches. I realize that many of you have posted photos before, and you can reenter now by posting a photo again or, which I'd prefer, a new photo of an IWC flight watch. I would ask that the photo be published exclusively on this Forum and that the photo must be one you took yourself.
Please post your Flieger photos below by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 7. You can enter twice with two photos if you’d like. Winners will be chosen by random number generator, so everyone has an equal chance to win.
Depending upon the number of entries, at least 5 and possibly as many as 10 persons will receive books as prizes. If you've already won a book, I would welcome your participation here (at least to see your photos), but we can't award a second book as a prize. In that case, I'd be pleased to send you a copy of Watch International, particularly since I have some that are a few years' old. Also, if you're a newcomer to the Forum and have first joined in 2006, you automatically will win a copy of Watch International if you post a photo here and let me know.
That's it - let's see some great photos. Hopefully, many of you who haven't yet won the book will win one in this drawing.

here is a picture that I have already posted (on this forum only) just a few days before I could enjoy a special Flight on the Real Junkers 52 ( the Tante Ju) while enjoying the company of MF and some fellow forumers last april. Simply perfect. I hope to find some more time next saturday to post a new picture as well. Ciao from Vicenza

Flieger Fotos!
Such a great watch but with a blended Whisky from Aberdeen it lowers the tone. Get yourself a top quality whisky to match the quality of the watch. As a Scotsman I recommend a 10 Year Ardbeg. It is the whisky equivalent of your beautiful watch.

FAA Rule: "Eight hours, bottle to throttle." (If you take so much as a sip, the clock starts running. There are a few more on the subject, too.)
