Hi. I'm looking for my first IWC watch. I have settled on getting either the Portuguese Automatic in platinum (5001-04) or the Portuguese Perpetual in White Gold (5022-18). I'm leaning toward the Automatic.
I haven't found any dealers here in Philadelphia (including Govberg) that have either item in stock, which I gather isn't surprising. Nor have I found anywhere online that has either watch. I've been told by several places that they could `order` either watch, but have gotten wildly different estimates as to how long that would take, ranging from 4 weeks to 9 months.
Can anyone recommend anywhere reputable that might actually have either of these watches in stock or could `order` them in a reasonable amount of time?

Just in case you are not aware>>>
the Platinum version of the Port Auto was a limited edition and seeing as it was already released a few years ago, it is possibly no longer available. I have seen a few in ADs cases since then, but not in the last 6 months.

Believe the Plat auto was a 2006 model and therefore you might be unlucky in finding a new one. Likewise the PPC you stated is again an out of date model but more recent. Best of luck in finding your goal, but new may prove impossible.
