PRT" is what someone else unofficially called the Portuguese Regulateur Tourbillon. Mine is almost here. Not quite, but it should be only a few days.
In honor of the occaison, I wrote a short article about the tourbillons in general and my "relationship" with this one in particular. You can access it by clicking on the link below.
One person in Schaffhausen decided to tease me with a few photos --one is shown here. I'll post more after it's on my hot little wrist.

You ARE in love, and it's worth it
I truly can understand you, Michael, and your article and a huge photograph of that watch very close by here almost give me weak knees. I'm quite lucky it is so hard to get. You are so right about its looks, this is the tourbillon to go for. I am very happy for you, and very curious to see the pictures of the watch around your wrist, realizing that just with this watch pictures don't do it full justice. Sleep well the next few nights!

What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)

Michael, maybe you will get your new IWC on July 4 and
fireworks will be set off all over America in celebration.
I am excited for you.
Joe
Congratulations and I know you are anxious to have it in your hands and on your wrist. It will be a stunning addition to your collection.
Wear it in very good health and post many photos.

the anticipation! I am also glad to hear you have add "... until next year." to your statement about having stopped collecting after this watch. :-)
