You can read more at the expedition website, which is at http://www.theplastiki.com/. Also, there’s a special platinum Ingenieur Automatic Mission Earth Adventure Ecology being auctioned. If you’re interested, please be sure to register since the highest bidder on August 7th wins!

I am surprised by the amount, it doesn't seem to be very much. As with the latest platinum Saint Exupéry, I wonder why. Is the economic crisis still to be blamed, or are people not interested in such special watches anymore? Was enough attention given to these auctions? I think it is quite a pity, and not the right signal. Or am I wrong here?
Kind regards, Paul
