I have the white faced 2000 but I saw the orange version at SIHH and it looked great. It is the same watch except for the color of the numerals. So it is a matter of personal preference as to which to buy. However, the orange version is sort of a limited edition and may be more difficult to come by. So, if you like it , get it.

Hi Rob, I saw it at an AD here in the Netherlands. The orange is very striking and I liked it a lot. It is a bit more 'flashy' than the standard white dial AT, but I would also take it if I where you.

One has been set aside for me and I will be going to have a look at it tomorrow to decide whether to buy it. Does anyone know what is luminized on this model?
p.s. my original user name was stanford but I've had to re-register in order to get onto the forum :(

The lume will look exactly like this
Good photo. I can even see the lume on the tip of the second hand!

Well, I handled the orange one today and it is very nice :)
The watch only comes on the rubber strap as standard, although one can buy a bracelet as an 'extra'. Thanks to the quick change facility I was able to try it on both strap and bracelet and, to be honest, I think it actually looks and felt better on the strap.
I'm going to think about it a bit before deciding whether to take the plunge, though.
As for the lume, as far as I could tell, only the bezel and minute hand are luminized. It appears that nothing that is coloured orange is luminized, including the dial markers, hour and second hands, or if it is it is very weak.

I've read elsewhere that the lume on the markers is not to the same level as the other starndard AT 2000's. I'm heading to Vegas in a few weeks and hope to see one for myself.
I have a chance to get one of the new orange aquatimer 2000's. Has anyone here seen one in real life? I'd appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks,
Rob Miller
