For privacy considerations, this forum software doesn't allow us to click on a poster's name and get the e-mail address.
However, if you want members to contact you, you can simply go to your "Profile Page" (upper right of index page) and add a signature to any posts. There is a block in the right column where signatures can be added; they they automatically appear in all posts (although you should be able to edit it out if you prefer for any given post.
For signature, you can put your e-mail address if you would prefer contacts from other members. My example follows.

The site administration already has my e-mail address, under user data. This is not intended for the forum? My home address is there too, for Watch International I presume.
This site, being very nice already, could do with personal communications facilities. As an intermediate site you could see this site as an acceptance test facility. All good suggestions could be welcomed, I would say. And Michael, you used to send some of us a mail once in a while, like invitations, and so on. How do you intend to do that in the future?
Kind regards, Paul

I have contact information from all prior years, and also have Gmail records of all those to who I've written or who have written me. I also intend to ask IWC for current contact information (for newbies or those who recently changed e-mail), but I'm trying to give them a break given the large number of Internet projects in process.

I thought a bit about it, and I don't understand the quote. What privacy considerations?
This forum is a closed forum: you have to subscribe to it, the forum is monitored, moderated. You even seem not to be able to get on the forum without a valid e-mail address. So what are the privacy considerations? As long as people, forum members, understand what is going on, I really don't see the problem: you can only get mail from other forum members. As long as IWC doesn't give the e-mail addresses away, or sells them (they will of course not), there is no real danger. Or a perpetrator must become a member and harvest the e-mail addresses one by one, if he can see these addresses, which is as far as I know avoidable.
So, I would advocate a good, solid working PM facility in the next version of the software: those e-mail addresses in the signature work of course in the end, but it is a bit clumsy.
Kind regards, Paul

Obviously someone can get personal information if e-mail addresses are shown, and that is a privacy consideration to some people if not you. It also may be clumsy, but it is possible and it need not be done by harvesting all names, nor would the malicious intent necessarily be to sell them.
I already said that a PM system would be a good idea. I do not know if the new software has one (IWC didn't invent this forum application). If not, I suspect the custom programming would be very expensive.
Given that there wasn't a contact system, I simply suggested a workaround for those who want to get e-mail. When someone said "I don't want to show my e-mail address" I also suggested getting a new, anonymous one for this or other forum initial contacts. That's all --there's no need to snipe, no need to quasi-moderate, etc.
