I'm thinking about buying another automatic watch!
Is it better to buy a watchwinder for the watch i'm not wearing or to leave it to stop ? Would it damage the watch if I restarted it every other week or are watches designed to cope with this? I currently own a Aquatimer and I'm still researching which additional watch I would buy.

Sure, just wind the watch every other week when you want to wear it. The only compelling reason to keep a watch on a winder is if letting it run down until it stops makes resetting all the complications difficult i.e., if you had a perpetual calendar. It would be my suggestion that if you decide to purchase a winder that you consider getting one that has at least 2 or 3 winding positions available. Reason for this is planning for the future--it let's you get that next watch and have a place on the winder that is available for use.
