Vicioussid Wrote:Hi Guys,
An update.
As I mentioned I was going to make the purchase in New York, traveling from Sydney Australia, in September, however I couldn't wait any longer and a Sydney AD gave me a great deal with Duty Free option and I couldn't resist.
So without further ado I am a very proud and excited owner of a IWC Classic Pilot Chronograph Ref: IW371701 (leather strap). WOW! Can't stop looking at it.
Pics coming this weekend. I can update my Profile Page. Ha ha.
Thx for all the replies.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! I can promise you that you will be pleased with your 3717 every day! Those are some nice photos BTW!
Best regards, Jim

I will vote for the pilot chronograph 3717. Simply a classy watch that you can wear it daily, and the price is very reasonable. But the spitfire version doesn't really raised up my heart beat.

Hi Guys,
Can anyone help me out with purchasing the right product to keep the Alligator Leather strap in good nick
...and some more pics, because you can never have enough, right?
By the way its only been a week but I love this watch. It changes appearance depending on how the light hits it, there's always something new to discover about it.
Enjoy Vicioussid.

I just bought my Pilot Chronograph Yesterday. It's the Rose Gold version with the Brown Croc strap. Exxcellent watch which I am looking forward toi wearing once my deployment clasp comes in. Should be here in about 2 weeks hopefully.

That is a fantastic watch, a perfect mix of sporty and dressy. So, enjoy this beauty. I know about how it feels, I own the rose gold Saint Exupéry Chrono: only the dial, hands and strap of our watches differ.
Kind regards, Paul

By the way, congratulations on your purchase --a great watch.
