For me, this is a place where I learn about IWC, share my passion with people who don't think that owning a lot of watches is 'weird' and most important, a place where I have made friends.
I post on several other fora too but this is the only place where I sign with my real name. The fact that the previous site was a secured site (SSL) also accounts for a part of that. Whenever it gets really busy at work, I stop reading the other fora but for this forum I somehow always find some time :-)

Wonderful reasons by everyone else on why they stay on the forum. My reasons are that:
1) I don't trust Facebook and log in very infrequently. If you read the in-depth facts on their security, you probably wouldn't go there either. In fact, the next time I log in I will probably delete my account.
2) Every time I visit this forum I feel the excitement and respect that the regular members have for their IWC timepieces. If I am wearing anything else, I usually have my IWC on before moving on to my next thing.

This is a great post. For me, I am a more-like a silent reader. But, I love to come back to this forum regularly. Becase it can:-
1. increase my IWC knowledge through MF and other members 2. feel the same IWC passion of the fellow members
I tried to spend some time on other watch forums. But, they never able to attract me to come back....
That why I always consider IWC for my next watch purchase, tend to wear my IWC more often vs other brand, tend to convince my friends to buy IWC, etc....

Hi, good question For me it is an addiction, to read the posts and get information is really fun. Although I have some difficulty getting accustomed to the new lay-out (but its getting better). cheers

The incredible knowledge shared by the members of this Forum is not to be found anywhere else. Having had the opportunity to meet quite a number of our participants, I can say that they are one of the friendliest and most helpful groups of people with whom I have had the pleasure of interacting.
