The new Forum has been open for 21 days (August 4 to 24), During that time, the English language forum has had a total iof 913 posts (topics and replies). That is about 48.5 posts per day.
Since the Forum originally began almost 9 1/4 years ago, in June 2001, as of this writing we've had a total of 145,045 posts. I personally have posted 7,340 of them, which is about 5% of the total.

Wow, that is an amazing output, especially since the large majority of your posts are very substantive. As for me, I think at least half of my posts are something vacuous like "Nice photo" or "Congratulations, great watch!

I think the numbers are good. If you follow any other sites the postings are probably less per day with the exception of one major site which covers all brands of watches and Panerai which seems to be unique. Anyone have a different opinion?
Alan --I'm interested in quality rather than quanity. But I believe that on most days we have a higher post rate and hit count than you suspect. We can't compete with hit counts for brands at lower average price points (which generally include Omega, Rolex and Panerai) even though for IWC vs. IWC forum we're more than competitive, and that's enough. What I want here is a quality of discussion and community.
You also should know that an average post here has 10 to 20 times as many views, and some are in the hundreds. If you multiply that you get some boxcar numbers.
