IWC has once again secured a starring role on the big screen, this time in Oliver Stone’s upcoming film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Landing on the wrists of both lead actors, Michael Douglas as the notorious Gordon Gekko and Shia LaBeouf as the innovative Jacob Moore, the film reinforces the brand’s well-earned reputation as a power player in the business world.
To show who is boss, standing out—in an understated way—is paramount in the cut-throat world of finance. Jacob Moore couldn’t show his understanding of this philosophy any more – by sporting the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar (Ref. IW502303), he is the true representation of the IWC guy, an educated, driven and talented man “in the know” who has a passion for the finer things in life.
Additionally, after his release from prison, the infamous Gordon Gekko shows his comprehension of strength and wealth by bearing the IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Edition Kurt Klaus in rose gold (Ref. IW376205). The limited edition piece is a true status symbol of Gekko’s return to power and an icon amongst the Wall Street power players.

Oliver Stone is a well known IWC fan and I strongly believe that motion pictures is probably the most secure way for high end publicity. Thank you for the info Michael.

Hey, that's great news. I have been eagerly awaiting this movie. In fact, 20th Century Fox was always a big client of mine - and in their offices at Fox Plaza (2121 Avenue of the Stars - also the building featured in "Die Hard") near Beverly Hills - there is a fantastic mural (photo) in black and white of Gordon Gekko, clad in suspenders, with slicked hair, seated at his desk, throned in his empire with the NY skyline to his back - I l always wanted that mural.
To think that there could be another iconic scene of Michael Douglas (Gekko) or a LeBouf (Jacob Moore) - wearing an IWC - especially a model that I also wear - that would be killer!!!

Just got back from the movies watching Wall Street, it is a good film overall, I have managed to spot the PPC and a Galapagos AT on a computer screen as an ad on an internet page. I failed to spot M. Douglas' Da Vinci but maybe in the directors cut copy.
P.S There is a big surprise right over the End titles...
