So I received this hat earlier this week. The number 68 is present on the bill, on the underside of the bill and on the (do I dare say it) the clasp on the back. The salesman could only ponder that it was the first year of the AT or the Ingenieur.
Anyone know the correct answer?

I have same cap, I always thought it was related to the year IWC was born, even if some say it could be 1869.
But I might be wrong.
