Dear Forumers, I'm very happy to inform you a Jubilee Portuguese, ref. 5441-001 just knocked at my door!
Since the beginning of my passion for watches I've always looked at this watch like the synthesis of all the things I like in the art of watchmaking.
I always wanted to buy it but then I let it pass several times just to follow fugacious mermaids, not to sincerely mention the fact it has been unattainable for my wallet for a long time :P
Now I'm finally through any kind of obnubilation and I clearly see my deepest will, this watch will stay with me forever, this watch MEANS forever to me, it's in my DNA.
I would like to thank you All of you, dear Forumers, for sharing together our passion for IWC, thank you Michael for being a source of inspiration I will always look up with estimation and deep respect.
I dedicate this post to Antonio (Clepsydra) and Franco, whose wise and brilliant advices helped me strenghten my consciousness, Argiris and Jim (Dzul) because we're always in touch as we share same hopes and dreams about IWC.
A very special Thanks to Benedikt, worthy member of German forum, who made it happen.

Well, well,well....This must be very exciting. Congrats on an iconic pickup. I have toyed with the idea of getting one of these several times, but passed for the contemporary models. I am sure you will get much pleasure from this and cement your relationship to IWC even more.

Outstanding, mio fratello! I know how long you have been trying to make the Jubilee a reality! We need to find a way to come back to Rome for a celebration! Cristina's pick for the T-shirt is classic!...and now you have the shirt with the watch to go with it!!!!! Bellisimo!
Best regards, Jim

Caro Roberto, Congratulations on the acquisition. Without any doubt the most elegant watch ever made. Wear it in good health for many, many years. The Ref 325 beckons now. :-)) Regards, Clepsydra

Roberto,
Many well wishes from me to you on this wonderful acquisition. Like Alan, I too have toiled with picking up this iconic and most beautiful Jubilee. I know you will enjoy wearing it as much as Cristina enjoys supporting your passion.

Remeber the, apparently, so cute and nice Cristina, my girlfriend as well as new IWC forum member?
Well, since I was finding some (economical) difficulties to bring the 5441 home, she gave me this present.
I think I hate her :D

Roberto
