Hi,
Imagine your new Retrograde is out of sync, date wise. Could you "fast forward" the date? You know, click your crown out to date adjusting position and then FF the date wheel? Or, is it the hard way (as is the case with e.g. the Portofino Moonphase): Click crown to adjusting time position and manually wind and wind and wind.... until you hit the desired date (or phase)?
I don't know your answer on this Tourbillon, but with respect there is a "semi-quickset" on the Portofino Moonphase. You basically go from 10 to 2, and back again, and the moon advances one day. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but it does work. This is like setting the date function on many old automatics, and I suspect that the Tourbillon Retrograde would at least be that convenient.

Hi Michael,
I asked KK last year about the PM, and he provided almost the same answer as you. KK advised me to go as far back as 8 and then just past midnight so that the disc changes. Then back to 8 again etc. But still a lot of winding back and forth :)
Just curious if this was really necessary on the Retrograde. To judge from your answer, I guess none of us knows for sure (yet) :)
