CBBSZ Wrote:Hi Everyone,I am new to IWC but have admired their watches for many years. I just bought the new Yacht Club (black face) and absolutely love the watch, however my only other timepieces have been a Rolex (GMT I Pepsi Bezel, and a 1972 Datejust).Anyways, I have 2 technical questions. 1. When unscrewing the crown and in the 0 position the watch makes and audible racheting type sound when winding, which seems fairly normal to me. However, when I screw the crown back in, it keeps making that sound the whole time and it is also much harder to screw in the crown relative to my old GMT. Is this normal? It seems strange that it would keep winding while screwing in the crown.2. The auto winding (rotor) mechanism is audible in a quiet room. From reading some other internet posts it seems like other IWC watches are known for making an audible sound during rotor movement. Is this normal. I picked the watch up on Saturday and noticed this stuff in the evening but my dealer is closed on Sundays so I can't get any answers.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
