Congrats on your second IWC Chris. Your 371417 is a stunner too, I purchased the same watch for my husband about a year ago and I got him his second IWC, a 378303 two weeks ago.
Like Bill, I am curious to know which IWC is your next target?

Congratulations! With the Aquatimer you have the sporty side covered! I won't try to talk you in to number 3 as the others did, because I know it's going to happen anyway :-)
Enjoy wearing both of your lovely pieces in good health!

Thanks, everyone! And, yes, a third one is almost certainly inevitable. I do like the Pilot watch on bracelet idea but my wrists are too skinny to wear the BP. So, at this point, I'm thinking the Spitfire. Not quite the traditional pilot watch look but there's something about it I like.

Chris[/quote] The Spitfire Mark XVI was my first IWC and is still my favorite "watch for all occasions." It has anti-magnetic casing that makes it great for airport screening...and the IWC modified ETA movement is accurate and tough. At 39 mm, it doesn't overpower my 17 cm wrist.
Best regards, Jim

Well, you are not alone, I like the Spitfires too. They really have a nice, strong looking dial, there is not much like it.
Kind regards,
Paul
What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)
