The very BIG Book has arrived in Richmond! I found the rain soaked box on the front steps today when I came home from work, and with trepidation opened the soggy cardboard. But, inside, tightly wrapped in plastic, was Engineering Time Since 1868. Looks like I have some fun reading time ahead!

I am down in the Norfolk area and received mine last week also. The mailman had wrapped my box in plastic and although it was raining, the contents were dry.

I spend the better part of today reading my newly arrived<u> WC Schaffhausen Engineering Time Since 1868</u>. I am really impressed with the quality of the book, its content and, yes, its size.
In Amsterdam AD's were selling copies they have in inventory.

I returned from a convention to which I was a delegate to find the The Book was delivered on Saturday. I have had my nose in it ever since I first unpacked the shipping box. I guess I really didn't understand completely when all of you said it was huge...it is huge! It has also been a real joy to read thus far!

I saw it at the Geneva Boutique a few weeks ago but it was way too big to carry around for the rest of my travels, so maybe next time.
