I am looking at purchasing a used GST Chronograph 3707-013 (Stainless Steel with white face and gold indices and hands). However, the current owner shortened it and does not have the links. Is there any where in the USA or World that I can purchase additional links? He says he has a 7 1/4 inch wrist and mine is 7 3/4+, would I need 1 , 2 or more links. I also saw someplace that other IWC models used the same links, is this true and which models?
I originally wanted this model back in the early 2000's when I first found out about IWC, but have not had the money/opportunity to purchase an IWC until now. I'd hate to miss out on this one simply because I did not check to see if I could acquire the necessary links.
We can't have "wanted to buy" posts here (due to the forum's non-commercial rules) but for parts like this you should try contacting IWC directly, either through an authorized dealer or by calling the New York office -ask for Celena Kennard.
