Hi
I own a Spitfire IWC watch and I dropped it this morning from a height of about 5 feet (it actually slipped off my wrist) onto a wooden floor. The watch is running and keeping time but I hear a different sound now when the flywheel is rotating. Should I take it a service centre and get it serviced or am I worrying about nothing?
I agree with Nad --see if a dealer can listen and look. One of the reasons we don't have service issues discussed here is that we can't evaluate them electronically. Someone needs to compare and evaluate with some expertise.
On the other hand, if your watch is still keeping good time and is winding well, there's no need to rush. I would guess that the winding rotor imay be slight askew but can't be sure without opening the watch. Still. it's worth checking out.

I'm not an expert but a new and different sound may mean that something is not right.
Do you have a local AD that can look at it?
Good luck!
Cheers,
Nad
