When I heard about this version of the Vintage Collection Portofino over 18 months ago, I decided this was the one for me. It took all of the 18 months to collect her. 5N Red gold, and the moon disk and hands are also red gold. The dial is a very inky black.

What a beautiful watch, congratulations! It was worth the wait. When Andrew Thomas told us about these series (if I remember well also the VC Portuguese was part of this version) I was seriously disappointed, having bought the steel version only months earlier. Your rose gold version with black dial took quite some time to appear, or did you get it by way of a "collector" like Tracy his 5003? I was glad when the beige dial rose gold version appeared. Your black dial version is equally beautiful. Enjoy!
