One of the locals!
It was so relaxing to sit under the natural canopy from the grape tree:
It was fig season!
After the visit, we stopped at a nearby restaurant for lunch, enjoy!!!!
It is customary to move to a new and clean table for fruits and dessert:
The following day, we went to a mountain top restaurant for lunch!
Yes, it's always "all about the food", LOL!!!!!!!!!
The view from our table, breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yum, I nice Black coffee after lunch!
Later that evening, we met us with some local collectors and this was the table shot.
The Big Pilot was not even mine that evening, LOL!!!!!!
The next morning we wanted a little rest and relaxation by the sea:
Continued.......................................
Cheers,
Nad
We also made plans for our official GTG and the big table-shot.
I had to take my three watches that I traveled with to be included in the table shot:
We met at a private office for security reasons and you will soon see why :-)))))
Here is a beautiful example of a pocket-watch from IWC...................
Oh no, my wife fell in love with the Saint Exupry Big Pilot, in Rose Gold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was like a kid in a candy store!
You can see why the need for a secure location, LOL!!!!!!
The official Beirut GTG "table shot"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had to make sure that we captured the right photo, LOL!
The next day was another beach day at a very nice club:
We got one of the 'beach beds' for the day:
Some local Rose wine, cheers!
That night we had drinks and dinner on a rooftop piano bar, with my Big Pilot:
The next evening we were also out with friends and my BP:
I don't remember where we were coming from or going to, but this guy wasn't going anywhere soon, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
Our second to last evening at a mountain top Italian restaurant:
It turned out to be another mini IWC GTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To be continued..................
Cheers,
Nad
Our last full day in Beirut was spent at another beach club!
Pardon the non-IWC photo but I had never heard of THIS energy drink, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
With Laurence:
And my wife:
Our last evening in BEY at dinner:
It was great to meet with the local collectors. They welcomed us and were extremely hospitable and just great people!!!!
I can't wait for a return visit!
Thanks for traveling with me and I hope you enjoyed the trip!
Stay tuned for my visit to Geneva, Lausanne, and London!
Cheers!
Cheers,
Nad
Kind regards,
Clemens

The food looks wonderful, and the selection of hardware was breathtaking.
Perhaps one too many "Nad shots" by the driver of the car? Or maybe he was busy with one of those special energy drinks? :-)

I think in about five years you are going to develop a bionic hand in which your fingers transform into a working camera. LOL
