Nad - Great travel report. How do you like that DaVinci Ceramic?
I have tried it on a few times - but the more I see your photos of it - the more my interest in it builds. The depths and perspectives of the dial features and contrasts of the ceramic and Ti are fantastic. While some may argue that this Ceramic DV pushes the boundary of traditional Probus Scafusia style too far - I would argue that IWC could push one of it's lines even further in this direction - while keeping the integrity of the brand, and the anchor of the Portuguese, Pilot, and Portofino lines - which remain so powerful. Imagine a crazy DaVinci Perpetual in ceramic, with high-tech dial, over-lapping hands and displays - perhaps an improved crown.... oh, that would be devine.
