What a great collector's story and photograph. I enjoyed reading the article - and seeing you in the photo. It was a pleasure meeting you back in 2007 at the Collector's Meeting in Schaffhausen - and recognizing you in the magazine. I particularly was interested in the "data" aspect of your collection motivations - and of course, your profession background and travels.

I too had the pleasure to meet Alan in 2007. Over dinner one night, I had time to learn more about his passion for the Jones PW.

He certainly knows his stuff. One of the most knowledgeable men I have ever met on IWc pocket watches. Ah, memories of 2007, come flooding back. A really great get together and a most enjoyable few days

Well thank you all for those very kind words. I and my wife also enjoyed the 2007 meeting very much and it was such a pleasure to talk with so many people with like interests in IWC timepieces. Hopefully we will meet again soon - maybe in Schaffhausen.
