Dear Michael,
I'm active member on this forum for about 4 months. Since my enrollment I have learned a lot of extraordinary things about IWC watches. Sometimes though, I cannot follow-(AND FEEL SAD)-some technical issues that you publish in forum. So ,I wonder if its good idea to add a new category with title "BEGINNER" or "BASIC WATCH PRINCIPLES" for all of us who don't have high level of expertise in watches.
We discussed that idea in July before the forum was launched. At that time, we decided not to do so, only to limit the number of forums for ease (at least in theory) of navigation. Even now, there's some overlap and some confusion where to post an item. Also, I do have a FAQ section as a medium term project, and that might help newbies.
Still, I appreciate your suggestion and will revisit it with IWC, especially when the forum gets redesigned.
