What a wonderful night it was! Here are a few photos from the HK GTG, I am sure Nad and MF will provide a better write up sooner or later.
Perfect weather for a perfect event
The night started with a cocktail in the Flagship Boutique HK
Finally get to meet Nad and other HK forum members in person
We tried, but the smart boutique fellows asked us to proceed to the restaurant with ONLY our own watches....
Venue of the dinner - Hutong (a Michelin one star restaurant serving Beijing and Shandong cuisine)
The very special guest of the night, Mr. Kurt Klaus!!
A bit of chitchat before dinner started
Mr. Klaus' birthday is coming up and IWC team HK has arranged a cake as surprise! It's our pleasure to sing Mr. Klaus a birthday song.
Great companion is essential for a great GTG
Some goodies from the GTG - an IWC 2CD set
an IWC wallet
and best of all - an autographed photo with Mr. Klaus during cocktail!! IWC team HK just had the photos developed while we were having dinner so it can be autographed the same night, it's just awesome!
Big thank you to Michael and Nad for initiating this idea of HK GTG, and an even bigger thank you to IWC team HK for making it happen! Last but not least, thanks Mr. Kurt Klaus for coming to HK for this GTG!! Cheers!

One more example of why it's great to be a part of this community. Cheers to the group and IWC. Great report. I look forward to pictures from the other attendees as well.

I'm absolutely speechless folks...
I've been snowed under at work lately - but DID know that somehow both MF and NAD were heading out East. BUT - it had not registered by me, that they were going to this wonderful 'little" CTG of IWC people.
Now, seeing the photos and reading the report - I can only concur with Thorsten ....\
Great Watches and Great People - let's face it dear fellow IWC enthusiasts - Kurt Klaus, surrounded by the likes of MF, NAD, Etchu and crew.....we all missed something.

Very nice indeed. But were there any watches to be seen, any special Limited Editions? I wonder if in Hong Kong, or Asia, the taste on watches differs from, let's say, Europe or America, like, more jewels on mens watches.
Kind regards, Paul
