Luc hi,
I am sure the folks out here can and will help. So, go post some pictures / close up pictures of the watch on a public accessible photo share site (like flickr.com) and then post it here. Wil help us all to identify the watch you have.
To get the name of the image in flickr click on; Share this, then click on, Grab the HTML/BBCode. You will see the following:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/55291881@N06/5125984645/" title="IMGP0073 by robertluc69, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4023/5125984645_cf28d740c3.jpg"
To display it here click on the image icon, the one with the green hills and moonphase and you will see the following, but with square brackets rather than round

Insert the address of the image between the centre brackets, either with your mouse or holding down the Ctrl and v together on your keyboard, it will look like:

Click on the screen with the magnifying glass icon
to preview it and post the reply when you are satisfied.
And it will look like this:
Try identifying it using the vintage catalog project;
http://www.iwcforum.com/Vintage_Catalogs.html
and click on the 1957 catalogue.
