After a lot of contemplation on whether to do it or not I decided to finally go for it and purchase my grail watch: the Portuguese Perpertual Calendar 5021 in yellow gold with silver dial. I had to trade a few of my other watches to be able to purchase this one, but after wearing her for a few hours the 5021 makes me forget the sacrifices I made ;-). It will also make a great combination with my titanium GST PPC.
I especially choose this version above the red gold because I just love the silver dial, and the 5021 over the 5023 because of the slightly larger size and the dual moonphase. It was rather hard to find the YG 5021 because there were not many made and not many are offered for sale, but I was able to get a great deal on this on in Maastricht today.
Furthermore this also appears to be my 2000th post on this forum. Not sure if this is a coincidence, but it surely is a good reason for a small celebration. Thanks to all who advised me on this purchase. I can only say a dream came true and I'm a happy man.
Regards,
Norbert

The watch is splendid, yellow gold and silver dial combination has nothing to envy to the other also beautiful declinations of this model.
Thank you for the report and for your comment which transmitted your joy to me also.

Hi Norbert, proficiat, well done on both occasions. That is a great watch. I have the red gold one and had always doubted betwen the silver and black dial. But as you say this one is harder to find. Hope to see it in real one day at a meeting.
