Being a laymen about watches, nevertheless I am a happy owner of a Portuguese Cronograph Automatic since five years. Somewhere I read that after such a period of time it is suggest that you have your watch internally cleaned and revised: is it true? In case, it is possible to have it done by the Company in its headquartes in Schaffaushen? Thanks to everyone who will be so kind to give me suggestions.

Welcome to forum. My humble opinion is that if you don't have problems with your watch (malfunction anykind) , leave your watch to do its "work", don't worry! Besides it's a IWC....!!
