The -22 is the current model, and has some minor redesign features plus 5N red gold, which has more copper in it and looks more red than the prior 3N gold. Also there are dial design differences, including if you look at the moon phase, which has the number of days on the inside circumference, a globe design in the centre, and different N/S pointers on the outside. The -19 model is neither in the current catalog nor current production.
P.S. I edited your post to remove pricing, per forum rules. Sorry, and thanks for understanding.

Dear sir. Sorry for my fault about prices.
So, I didn´t note this difference in moon phase from the photos that I took from the web regarding this two models. This difference I noted in the oldest model that is wrote "Perpetual Calendar" at moon phase dial and the number is 502101.

Michael, I am attempting to use the quote function for the first time - so forgive it doesn't appear correctly.
A question - is the 5023 still in production? I see it in the collection section. Can you describe what type of gold is used for the 23?

Eric -
The Portuguese Perptual Calendar Ref# 5023 comes in 2 variants in the current catalog (certainly, there may be other limited/boutique editions with different dials, or engravings for specific editions, retailers, etc)
The 5023 was introduced in 2010, and the 5022 was discontinued. It is made in 18k White Gold, and 18k Red Gold. Instead of IWC producing 2 separate types of cases for the Portuguese Perpetual, with different dimensions and bezel shapes for their 5021 and 5022 - they introduced the 5023 - which is the same dial and features as the former 5022 - but with the same case and bezel as the 5021. I think this helps them "rationalize" and limit extra production steps.

Richard,
thank you for the information. You say the 5023 was introduced in 2010 -- could you clarify which version of the 5023 was introduced in 2010? I know that I have seen 5023's that were produced prior to 2010.
Thanks, Eric (and thanks for the response to my IW magazine post)

Hi Eric,
I'm not Richard, but if I may help. The Portuguese Perpetual Ref 5023xx was released in 2010 in 2 versions, Rose (5N) Gold and White Gold. They look very similar to the Ref 5022xx (which they have replaced) having the same dial designs and features but now appear in a larger case (the same as the Ref 5021xx). You may well have seen a Ref 5022xx and be confusing it with the newer model as they are very alike.
1) I would like to know exaclty the difference from the following Models. They are both Red Gold:
- IW502122
- IW502119
Someone told me that the strap AND Red Gold color are different.
2) Both are currently beeing produced ?
I apprecite some comments.
Thank you.
Alex
