Hello everyone,
to my disappointment I discovered today that the chronograph reset button of my IWC Portuguese Chronograph is malfunctioning. Being more specific, the start/stop button seems to fire and stop the chronograph properly but when I stop the chronograph and press the reset button, the hands of seconds and minutes do not reset to their original "12" position. Is there a way that I can somehow calibrate this? Or do I need to get the watch to the dealer for a check? The watch has been treated very well, no falls or hits, the case is not scratched or damaged in any way and it's still under guarantee.
In case the watch needs servicing does it have to be sent to IWC or the local dealer can fix this problem?
For several reasons individual service issues aren't forum topics...you should bring your watch to a dealer for physical inspection. If they can't handle the repair, which likely will be the case, your watch will need to be sent to Schaffhausen or an authorized repair agency, which exist in many countries.

Thanx for your kind responses,

I'd suggest you take it to your local Authorized Dealer; it will need a service and they should be able to arrange this for you.
Good luck.
