Aloha all!
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a parcel from the other side of the world courtesy of Dutch forum member Mark.
Keeping in mind that I'm a life long resident of a tiny island in the center of the Pacific, I had never heard of this famous Dutch treat - a very specially flavored black licorice - and Mark had to patiently explain what his gift was and why it was so unique.
Tonight I went to the second-hand store after work and I just happened to see a Dutch shoe so I bought it to include in the picture. The shoe appears to be advertising a beer and since it says "imported" I'm guessing that this beer must be imported from Germany into Holland.
Anyway, I plan to share Mark's present with my office staff and I might return the shoe to the second-hand store - I can tell the lady at the counter that the fit is not quite right. On the other hand, I might save it and give it to Norbert when he visits Honolulu in the near future.

Tracy, us Dutch lads will pass the hat around at the next CTG here, and put in to buy a 6 pack of those famous green bottles for you. Of course, we will be sure to procure only bottles labeled with "Brewed in Holland by Heineken BV - Amsterdam, The Netherlands"
Of course, by common consenus they will go into cold storage here - and only the invitation to come over and drink them with us shall be sent!
We guarantee a Tour of the Genuine Heiniken Brewery too then.
I love the picture, and despite the fact the licorice is a treat, and those shoes quiet comfortable, I'll take that watch in the middle, anytime!
Best regards Mark ps: I am sure that all of you had noticed Tracy's generosity on this forum here before - even to the extent of exclusive IWC CF1 Poster give aways - my sending him something in reciprocation of his generosity, was only natural.
