But the watch, announced at Basel 2002' came out just as Georges Kern became CEO in January 2002. he didn't like the blue and told product management to have a black dial platinum. That came out in a "soft launch" a few months later.Based on what I know of sales back then, even 500 total production, for all years, for both is too high. The allocation between dial numbers were never published.
