The last few years I have opted for the PPC. I usually miss the count down to midnight as I snap pictures or take a video of this marvelous IWC bring in the New Year. Are any of you thinking the far ahead, or am I just sick. : )

I didn't give it a thought yet, but probably it will be my Portuguese Perpetual Calendar too. I took a picture last year, so I will skip that, but seeing the procedure of all those changes is fun: I will glance at the watch once in a while, being good company the rest of the time. Of course I am sure everything will go fine, but it is nice to know it when it matters.

It should be my PPC. But it will be a good party, so, a 3227 is probably more sensible. I might even advance the PPC a few hours to get the complicated stuff out of the way so that I can concentrate on having fun at midnight. How sad is that?

I am not sure which one I'll be wearing... I'll be traveling - but still considering setting up a "webcam" like last year which people can access LIVE via a mobile device while you're at the parties.
Last year I was in Los Angeles for New Year's eve - I had a couple of Portuguese Perpetual Calendars set up on Central European Time, and New York Time - to usher in the new year. The images were beamed over the internet LIVE and were accessible via mobile devices - people seemed to enjoy it from the messages I received...
It was a special year last year, being a new decade and all - should I do it again?

I'll be wearing either my BP 5004 or Aquatimer 2000 -- or maybe both, who knows ?-- depending on how much champagne I drink...:-). Anyway Merry Christmas and happy Ner Year.
Here is last year's midnight shot.
This year will not be a full moon : (.

You bet, if you have time and the inclination to be a movie producer extraordinaire....Happy holiday and enjoy New Year's Eve, wherever you are.
