Gents, indeed. It's a great article - so is the one on the Hand wound.....
BUT, here is the caveate (for me in anycase) - I ordered the WG/Blued Dialed/ PPPC in mid July via my local AD, and it was promissed for September delivery, then October, and now "no commitment" to a delivery date.
This is for me very disapointing, especially after the fact I have given up on the order I placed for the AT Deep II (months before it was announced) and it simply never materalised at my AD. Especially frustrating, when I some months after placing the order happenned to "bump" into one on display and for sale in Munich Airport, Duty Free. Now, we know that the IWC Boutiques get firs grabs (and I understand this), but I battle to understand why purely becuase I am resident in The Netherlands, where IWC is represented, that my chances of getting some of the better IWC watches are limited, purely on the basis of an allocation system being in place. I would have imagined that at least for the more expensive watches, a system of Order and Order Confirmation is put in place. That ways, at least one knows wether to still anticipate a watch or not....
Now, the sad part of course is, that if I happen to pass a boutique and see that watch for sale, then my AD is going to miss out on a sale.
Here's hoping that my Christmas stocking might still get filled by IWC via my local AD.

Hi Mark,
I would simply change AD's if I were you. I buy my watches in Switzerland, most of the time at a well equipped and powerful AD. He (she) got me my hotly fought about rose gold Saint Exupéry Chrono, and my rose gold VC Portuguese when it seemed this watch had only a virtual existence. As you travel around much, get yourself international. By the way, the name of the watch brand indicates this. I guess you will not regret it, you only are losing your money quicker.
Kind regards, Paul
