A week or so ago, I bagged a nice Ref 3713. Yesterday, I received notice that my Big Pilot had been serviced and is ready for collection. For those of you who wonder whether the expense and hassle of having an IWC serviced is worth it, I can assure you that to receive your watch looking just as it did when it first left Schaffhausen is good value.
Some picks of the BP and the recently acquired Ref 3713.
As you'll notice, it's a white and V cold Christmas here.

Ralph, really cool shots in more than one way....and that 'flash" of light refelcted on the Doppell....just makes it a great pic. Bet it gave you a double feeling of Christmas joy, to unpack the collection again for the phot shoot.

I have struggled with the choice as to where to service my BP, which, as some of you know, has a gash on the lugs, and would also require some polishing.
Probably Schaffhausen is my best bet.
Also congrats on the 3713, it's a classic timepiece!
