For me it was obviously the 5021. A pitty the moonphase was not correct and I had to bring it to IWC for a service. It won't be here for new year so I just have to wait until 2012 to see the year change and wear the GST PPC instead (not wrong either ;-))
Looking forward to see your most interesting or beautifull IWC aquisition of last year....

My best acquisition this year was to fill in a void and add a BP to the IWC collection. The much sought after slow beat came courtesy of a fellow forum member and is a prized possession.
A related, non watch. addition that gives me goose bumps is the IWC Junker JU52 as a companion to the 5002:
Technically, the AT 2000 white dial was acquired in late 2009, but officially arrived at my door in 2010. I think this one will qualify for a 2010 add on.

I guess it depends on how I look at "best".
Early in the year, I was able to acquire a watch I never thought I would own. I wear it often, as I would far more common watches. I still get tingles every time I realize this prize is really mine. It will be one of my long time keepers. Later in the year,
the white Aquatimer arrived. Its comfort and grabbing of a daily wear spot that pushed most others aside convinced me that I really needed a black dial companion, and with the cooperation of one of our friends I added the Ingenieur. One of these three
is on my wrist virtually every day. So these three 2010 acquisitions have pushed aside almost every other watch I have owned.

Whenever I was in the IWC museum in Schaffhausen I was drawn to the Novecento with the JLC movement on exhibition. And this year I was lucky to add this watch to my collection. Urs

To the regular participants of this forum, it will come as no surprise that my acquisition of the Collectors' Forum Da Vinci was the top of my list for 2010. It is comfortable, versatile, and beautifully crafted. This special IWC gives me constant pleasure to wear!
Best regards, Jim

Alas, no IWC for me in 2010, but then, there were two in 2009 an one in 2008, making it one IWC per year on average for the last three years: not too bad. I expect the Forum Da Vinci to score heavily here, although there are some of us who bought more than one IWC in 2010, and another watch might win. I already saw some wonderful watches here, like the Pisa, the Jubilee and the Novecento: I really like that last one.
Kind regards, Paul

Jubilee, Pisa, Slow Beats ....all hard to beat !
But for me, the top 2010 IWC must be the ;
Although I might add that if Schaffhausen verify the recent Cal. 64 I secured earlier this month as the "real deal"....it, will be for me and my collection, a very nice 2010 addition.
Wishing MF and all the forums members a Happy New Year 2011.

Hard to beat the Jubilee and the excitement of finally being a proud owner..............
Although my second was paid for in 2010, I will not collect it until 2011, does that count????!!!!!!! LOL
Happy New Year!
