Another year passed and it is my IWC Collectors’ Forum anniversary today! This was a good ‘un on the forum that included:
• Announcement and the opportunity to order the second IWC Collectors’ Forum watch…a special edition Da Vinci Chrono (CFDV) • Trip to Italy and an evening with Roberto (“flyrobfly”) and Cristina. • Opportunity to interrupt Argiris’ evening football game and speak with him from a Roman restaurant on the Gianicolo (facilitated by Dorothy and my cordial host…Roberto!) • Opportunity to work with Hoa Huynh of the Beverly Hills IWC Boutique who handled the ordering of my CFDV • Acquisition of a new digital camera that allowed me to ‘upgrade’ (somewhat) my watch photography and post more pictures • Arrival of my CFDV…a truly beautiful watch and a tangible connection with this forum • Visit to the Beverly Hills Boutique…met Hoa in person and tried on most the novelties introduced in 2010 • Introduction of the revised IWC Collector’s Forum format And last but not least…. • Experiencing the ongoing joy of conversing, learning and exchanging photos with a wonderful group of members and moderator on this excellent forum. I log in every day to spend time with y’all and value the friendships I’ve established!
I was feeling a little “sixties” today and decided to post this groovy image of my CFDV! Far out…can you dig it? (Bring up Jefferson Airplane music in the background)

Your post reminds me of some of my mornings in the sixties when my text book pages looked like your photos. You do know this is a drug free zone? LOL.
I have very much enjoyed our on and off forum communications this past year. Congratulations on your anniversary. Now we have another year to share our passion together.

Thats it ! I'm going to send my CFDV in for a dial change...I want a dial just like the one on the top right.
We know from an earlier posting on this forum, that IWC have in the past issued watches with green tinted dials, and it is clear a crystal (meths) clear to me.....I want it in those flash colors :~)
