Just recently bought a new Spitfire Chronograph black dial in New York and brought it home with me to Stockholm Sweden. Next trip for it will be Thailand and then Denver, USA.

When I was in Argentina, Buenos-Aires, it brought me to "the Petit Palais", where IWC recently opened their boutique early 2010, if I remember correctly. I was welcomed very friendly by Nadia, who is the Manager of "Le Petit Palais". As a passionate IWC lover, I easily felt at home there. However taking pictures was not really allowed, hence the picture with sister brand taken from the opposite street side. Ciao, Rob (Europe, Belgium).

I bought my IWC Fliegerchronograph from Richard Paige, the founder of the Timezone.com website in 1998. Since then, the IWC has gone with me to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Belgium, Norway, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Guatemala and Canada. It has been perfectly reliable and has spent many weekends doing maintenance at my wife's horse farm. This watch has not been babied. One thing I can say is that I have not found any steel bracelet on any watch that is more comfortable at any price offered by any brand. I love the understated quality of IWC!
last june I got myself an Ingenieur - plastiki - limited edition. I love the spirit of adventure that the watch has and it inspierd me to build my own "palstiki" to sail accross the sea of galilei! Ill send some pics as soon as I can. for now i would like to bid good luck to the people of egypt in there struggle for freedome

I took my IWC Mark XVI to St. Thomas in 2009...planning on taking either a SS Portuguese chrono automatic or Aquatimer when we leave for St. Thomas in a week!

My 7 day Auto has not been too far from my home in the US just yet. That's the beauty of it, whether I'm abroad or changing my sons diapers, one glance at my left wrist puts me at ease, regardless of the time : ). Imagine that, an instrument used for telling time seems to stop it at every glance.

I don't get off my island very often (if I'm lucky).
