Since then, the IWC has gone with me to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Belgium, Norway, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Guatemala and Canada. It has been perfectly reliable and has spent many weekends doing maintenance at my wife's horse farm. This watch has not been babied. One thing I can say is that I have not found any steel bracelet on any watch that is more comfortable at any price offered by any brand. I love the understated quality of IWC!
I own the same watch and bought at almost the same time. The band is the best thing I have ever found and the watch itself has been nearly flawless. Did lose a pusher button doing yard work but that was once in 15 years and the time keeping is exceptional. I'm not sure I have had to reset the time other than for DST.
Rockefeller Center NYC after checking on progress at the soon to open NYC Boutique.

Quite surprisingly, there are a lot of versed timepiece enthusiasts and collectors if you are able to choose the proper grandstands for races.
There was this one time in Silverstone when we spend almost half of the time of free practice 2 talking about pieces that have come and gone.

That is on my short list for the next IWC....
Wear it well, wherever you travel....
