HI I WAS GIVEN A IWC TIMEPIECE SOME YEARS AGO, I AM NOW TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT PIECE THIS IS. IT HAS A WHITE PLAIN FACE WITH BLACK ROMAN NUMERALS IWC SCHAFFHAUSER UNDER THE X11 and quartz water resistant above the V1,THE CASING IS A SILVER COLOUR WITH A TAN BROWN LEATHER STRAP WITH A CROCODILE PRINT. ON THE BACK in the middle on a frosted circle IT SAYS IWC NO12/50 1990 p.latinum and five stars, around the edge it says international watch co. grande complication it was given to me about ten years ago by a Spanish supplier thank you tony

So far it hasn't taken me anywhere. Just bought my first vintage IWC last Sunday. Don't know much about it, case number is 1345503 and movement number is 1331717. FABULOUS timekeeper. Needs a crystal, but I'll be taking care of that Friday

Hi I just picked up what I think is an IWC pocket watch movement 293409 which looks exactly like the 1902 calibre 53 lig19 in all details. It is marked with S&Co only (not peerless). Is it possible that it is IWC without saying peerless? Thanks

If there is one watch that has been a reliable travel partner to me, it is the AT2000. This photo was taken during a dive in Costa Rica in 2008. This moment was somewhat special because I took it when the watch hands were at their so-called ideal position. Too bad it was the 24th instead of 25th. ;-)
The watch has tested the waters in Malaysia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Malta, Jordan, and Mexico. Every time I am amazed by the readibility of the watch, also at great(er) depth.

Brand new MK XV11 obtained at terminal five Heathrow and off to Muscat Oman now back in England for a few days and off to Confolens in France for two weeks and then to my home in Doha Qatar, a well travelled watch in just a few weeks.
thank you tony
