Hi guys! got one more shot I took yesterday. Its LLMZ the lowest airfield in the world! Located on the shore of the dead sea right near MAZADA fortress this small airport is 1266 feet under sea level. Having a (-) reading it dosent have a 3D GPS location so you must navigate by VOR radio to get there. A small FBO there offers flights overlooking historical MAZADA and skydiving under sealevel. very cool! It was 40 Celsius when I took the shot and the sun was cooking me!

I got mine in May 2011. Got it from Interlaken, Swiss. Took it to Zurich, Vienna & finally home to India. Next trip, lets see. Also, from Zurich I took my kids to see the rhine falls, little did I know that Schaffhausen was just a couple of stops away. Was our last day there, else would have loved to visit the co HQ. Well they say, leave something for the next time, so be it. MK

Norway
Greetings from Norway!!
My PPC was born in Schaffhausen of course, then placed in fostercare at Schipol airport (Amsterdam) where I saw it smiling at me and, like any responsible "parent" I could not resist. I had to make sure it was adopted into a safe home where it will be truly appreciated and well taken care of :-)
I immediately put it on and the flight to Detroit and consequently Erie, Pennsylvania has never been that short - I had something to look at the whole way.
Here it is at 30.000 feet - and now it is resting from al the travel at its new home in Norway!! " alt="image" />

Austria
Last weekend saw us in Berlin at the biggest Mercedes meeting of the world. This week I spent in Sun City, South Africa and I showed my watch a real massive buddy.

I purchased my Portuguese 2 years ago in Switzerland and it has already travelled at least 2 world tours. This watch is part of my favorite ones and I am wondering if I will change the brown croco strap for a new fancy color. I don't even know whether IWC propose some color declinations as accessories.
At the end of the day, I am happy with my watch and this is what counts the most.

I haven't taken mine anywhere... sadly.
I inherited a vintage (circa 1950's) IWC from my grandfather. It is a beautiful piece: classic style, case in 18k gold, J.B. Tito's signature on the back. The glass and strap are in pretty bad shape, though.
I've contacted IWC's Restoration Services many times - to no avail.
I'd take it to London, Luang Prabang and Hong Kong if I managed to have it restored.
Does anyone know what is the best way to get IWC respond to my queries?

My Pilot Mark XVI has been all over the UK, Australia last year and subsequently to the Blue Mountains.
It's been to UK's answer to surfers paradise Croyde Bay a few times too ;-)
