I look at it conversely: for those signng into the German forum, they now can translate via Google the international (formerly, English language) forum.

Here are some links that you can use to access the translated IWC Forum!
The translation isn't perfect but you can certainly read and understand all the German Forum posts and, of course, view the pictures too. This was not possible when the forum was secure (https).
Even if you never post, it's still a fun read and I know that many English Forum users have been using the on-line translator one post at a time - quite tedious - and now completely unnecessary.
And, as David pointed out on the German shortly after my initial post - the translator works both ways!
I have made some very good friends on the German Forum (Thorsten, David, Robert, Arne, Andreas, AL, and others - from Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Austria) and I encourage the English Forum users to give it a try.
Our common interest in IWC watches easily transcends the occasional "technical difficulties" that occur in translation. (LOL)

Servus,
I've been wandering onto the German Forum for some time now, and "Definitely Enjoy It" I use three different translators to try and get things right. Thorsten has been a big help when I get stuck. I think its neat, and I'm starting to be able to read some posts without using the translator. Its like an Adventure! Give it a try!
For those who are interested, it is now possible to use the Google Translator to automatically translate the entire German Forum into English!
You still have to respond in English or German (i.e., the translator won't translate your posts automatically).
I hope the screen shot I took works so you can see what I'm talking about.
