just for curiosity... on wikipedia, on the Blancpain value it is mentioned that whereas Rolex produces some 2'000 watches per day, Blancpain manufactures bit less than 10'000 watches per year...stunning, no?? any idea about the IWC figures in this respect?? best, simius

Hi Michael, sure, let's risk with a guess.. ok, following the examples of Blancpain and Rolex.. certainly, not 2'000 watches per day..this really sounds like a massive production.. I'd say 100/day..or roughly 40'000/year.. would you comment on this?? regards from Bern Simius
Simius, what I will say is that before Richemont acquired IWC, in 2000, IWC announced publicly its production,. Back then it was about 40,000 annually.

oh, so that was a bingo...thanks Michael for this interesting information..personally, I'm glad to be close to Blancpain than to almost a mass producer of 2000 watches a day...

And i think the production capacity has been expanded since 2006 so they should now produce between 80000 and 90000 watches a year.
