Hi,
I have got a solid 18K IWC manual "dress watch" from around 1976. To my knowledge it is 100% original incl the black crocodile and buckle, I'm the 2nd owner. It actually has a goldplated IWC buckle from "UNROC", the type commonly used by IWC from mid 60's to later part of 70's - have a look in the Vintage Catalog Project. (I actually have a Zenith buckle of the same model/make but in stainless.)
I suppose the size is 16mm (and the lug size of the strap is 18mm).
Photo and/or IWC part code would be appreciated.
I have seen some NOS gold plated buckles on e-bay but somehow I doubt IWC would have gold plated buckles in any production year...
Thanks,
Sead
