Hi all, I'm afraid I must call upon your knowledge once again.
I think I have finally decided on the style I most like, however I haven't seen many of them. On top of my already poor knowledge, that makes it even more difficult for me to decide whether this is the real deal!
If you have the time, please take a look, and let me know your thoughts. All opinions most welcome, whether positive, negative or otherwise!

Hello, I am in now way shape or form an expert. Now that I said that,I only urge you to be very careful when purchasing a watch from anyone other than an authorized dealer, or someone you deeply and sincerely trust. I see that this is a vintage watch, so walking into your local dealer and picking this piece up is near impossible. Maybe one of the more knowledgeable gents on the site can give a bit more insight on what the pics are showing. Good luck!!!

Hi Michael, many thanks for the speedy reply! One more quick question if you don't mind - is it usual for the IWC font to vary from watch to watch? I've noticed on a couple from this seller that the 'U and S' in 'Schaffhausen' are joined together, one (as you say) 50s, one from 1960. It seems the more and more IWCs I look at, the more tiny details I start focusing on!
Many thanks again,
P.S. And thank you for the advice Watchaholic- as you say, you do have to be very careful, which makes the whole process a lot more nerve wracking!
