Should a 7 day automatic be fully wound in the morning before wearing to ensure the best performance? I read somewhere that it runs best at full reserve.
Automatic watches generally are adjusted and regulated with full winding (or technically no isochronism error). But an 8 or 9 hour state of unwind won't have a material affect on accuracy. So I wouldn't sweat winding an automatic watch each morning.
