Should I have it tuned ?? I brought to my local watch guy and he told me not to touch it,a +14 secs per day variation with this weather is perfectly normal ( it's damn cold at night and turns warm during the day). What to do ?? My Sea Dweller is at + 2 secs sharp no matter what's the weather..

I bought a Galapagos one month ago and it's + 8-9 s/d too fast. Bit more than I expected from an IWC. My Portuguese is around + 5 s/d which I can live with. Maybe a fresh mechanical watch needs a little bit of running in.

My AT Cousteau Chrono 2010 runs very constantly +7.5 secs a day (ETA 7750 again), a tad out of limits. The first time the watch will be opened I'll let it re-regulated. So no problem but one more on the to do list. A demagnetizing is always worth trying. Hope this helps. Best, Robert

Let me add a couple of extra details. The watch has sat idle in a safe( cold I would assume) for quite a long time Doublechecked today and it seems at same time yesterday it has lost 1 sec over the general +14.

That would bother me. That is about 7 min/month. On the other hand most of us don't live our lives to the exact minute. Maybe just get it regulated before the warranty is out.
the negative aspect lasts 8 seconds too long.
I would accept everything within + 6s/d to -3s/d ...
My Ingenieur makes +4s/d.
